The MRCOOL® DIY® Select 12K BTU 115V Ductless Heat Pump Single Zone Mini-Split Condenser is designed to make HVAC installation simple and accessible for homeowners. Built for true do-it-yourself installation, it requires no specialized tools, certifications, or prior HVAC experience. Ideal for garages, home offices, studios, and similar spaces, it delivers reliable heating and cooling for areas up to 550 square feet.
Despite its DIY®-friendly design, the system delivers strong performance with a 17.5 SEER2 cooling rating and 9 HSPF2-4 heating efficiency, providing consistent, energy-efficient comfort year-round while helping control utility costs.
Installation is further simplified with an 11.5-foot Quick Connect® line set that arrives factory pre-charged with environmentally friendly R-454B refrigerant, eliminating the need for vacuum pumps or refrigerant handling. Most components are included, making setup faster and more approachable for first-time installers.
Comfort control is easy using the included wireless remote or the MRCOOL® Comfort app, which allows remote temperature control, scheduling, and energy monitoring. Compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant adds hands-free convenience.

The compatible Quick Connect® line set arrives factory pre-charged with environmentally friendly R-454B, eliminating the need for vacuum pumps or refrigerant handling. In addition, the 13-foot DIYPRO® cable removes the need for traditional electrical conduit, simplifying installation while protecting wiring from moisture, pests, and everyday wear.
Comfort control is easy and flexible with the included wireless remote or the MRCOOL® Comfort app, which lets you adjust temperatures, create schedules, and monitor energy usage from anywhere. Voice-control compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant adds hands-free convenience.
