Manufacturer warranty
Covered by MRCOOL's limited warranty. Warranty terms are set by MRCOOL and differ by product line — whether registration is required, and whether the installation has to be performed by a state-licensed HVAC contractor, is not the same across the range. In every case coverage depends on the unit being installed according to MRCOOL's instructions and all applicable codes and permits. MRCOOL's warranty document for this model is the controlling source; ask us and we'll send you the one that applies.

Shipping & delivery
Cancellations & returns
Cancel for a full refund any time before the order is submitted for fulfillment. After that, cancelling may carry carrier, return freight or restocking fees.
Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery and approved in writing before anything is sent back. Items must be unused, never installed or powered on, and in the original packaging. A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply, and return shipping is the buyer’s cost unless the error was ours.
Inspect the delivery before you sign. Damage written on the delivery receipt is covered; damage found after a clean signature is very hard to claim.
Installed right, warranty intact
Have this installed by a licensed HVAC contractor. It keeps the install safe and to code, and most manufacturers require it for warranty coverage. If you don’t have one, we’ll find licensed installers near you.

What happens next
-
Order confirmed
You get an email the same day with your order number and the model number of everything on the order.
-
Delivery booked
For freight items the carrier calls to arrange a window. Somebody needs to be there — curbside freight is not a doorstep drop.
-
Inspect, then sign
Walk the pallet before you sign. Note any damage on the delivery receipt — that receipt is what a freight claim rests on.
Not sure this is the right size?
Sizing equipment off square footage alone is how people end up with a unit that short-cycles. Tell us about the space and we will tell you honestly whether this is the one.

Frequently asked
Can I install this myself?
It depends on the line. Pre-charged DIY systems are designed so the refrigerant connections are made by hand, with no brazing or vacuum pump. The electrical side — a dedicated circuit and disconnect — is licensed work in most jurisdictions whoever hangs the units. Everything else needs a licensed installer throughout.
Why is shipping not free on some items?
Anything that ships on a pallet goes LTL freight, and that cost varies by destination far more than parcel does. Where we hold a carrier quote we show you the real number for your state rather than burying an average in the price.
Does installing it myself void the warranty?
On the DIY lines, no — that is what they are built for. Registration inside the manufacturer's window is what matters. The warranty document for this model is in the Documents tab.
What if it turns up damaged?
Note it on the delivery receipt before you sign and photograph it at the curb, then call us. A signed-clean receipt makes a freight claim very difficult to win, so those two minutes matter.
Can you help me work out what I need?
Yes. Call or email before you order and we will go through capacity, line set run and what your inspector will want to see.

Make sure it is the right size, and that you have the rest of it
Most outdoor units ship alone. If you are not certain of the capacity, or of what has to go with this unit, these two will work it out with you.
