Experience top-tier heating and cooling efficiency while simultaneously reducing utility bills and lessening your environmental footprint with the MRCOOL® DC Inverter Package Heat Pump. This energy-efficient ducted system delivers comfort through a single, conveniently packaged outdoor unit, all without the need for fossil fuels. The root of its exceptional efficiency lies in the variable speed DC compressor, which minimizes power loss, ensuring the unit operates at a notably lower noise level. This translates into uninterrupted regulation of room temperature to cater to individual preferences. The compressor and DC motor's adjustable speeds provide a wide range of cooling and heating, spanning from -22°F to 125°F. The unit also offers versatile air return options from either the side or the bottom, accommodating both traditional and rooftop installations. For added flexibility, optional heat kits are available to suit specific requirements. What sets the MRCOOL® DC Inverter Package Heat Pump apart is its rapid response to indoor and outdoor temperature changes, efficiently adapting to load demands. Additionally, its intelligent defrosting technology enhances winter heating performance by assessing frost conditions. Rest assured in your investment with 10-year warranties covering labor, parts, and the compressor—all without the need for cumbersome registration processes. Elevate your comfort, energy efficiency, and peace of mind today with MRCOOL®

Manufacturer warranty

Covered by MRCOOL's limited warranty. Warranty terms are set by MRCOOL and differ by product line — whether registration is required, and whether the installation has to be performed by a state-licensed HVAC contractor, is not the same across the range. In every case coverage depends on the unit being installed according to MRCOOL's instructions and all applicable codes and permits. MRCOOL's warranty document for this model is the controlling source; ask us and we'll send you the one that applies.

Shipping & delivery

Orders typically ship within 1-3 business days. Freight items are delivered by appointment to a curbside address; someone must be present to receive and inspect the shipment. Inspect for damage before signing. Returns are accepted within 30 days on unused, uninstalled equipment in original packaging -- return shipping and a restocking fee may apply. See our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy for full terms.

Cancellations & returns

Cancel for a full refund any time before the order is submitted for fulfillment. After that, cancelling may carry carrier, return freight or restocking fees.

Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery and approved in writing before anything is sent back. Items must be unused, never installed or powered on, and in the original packaging. A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply, and return shipping is the buyer’s cost unless the error was ours.

Inspect the delivery before you sign. Damage written on the delivery receipt is covered; damage found after a clean signature is very hard to claim.

Installation

Installed right, warranty intact

Have this installed by a licensed HVAC contractor. It keeps the install safe and to code, and most manufacturers require it for warranty coverage. If you don’t have one, we’ll find licensed installers near you.

  • Licensed HVAC installMost manufacturers require it for warranty coverage.
  • Dedicated circuitIts own breaker and a shutoff near the outdoor unit, to local code.
  • Keep the invoiceWarranty claims ask for proof of installation.
After you order

What happens next

  1. Order confirmed

You get an email the same day with your order number and the model number of everything on the order.

  2. Delivery booked

For freight items the carrier calls to arrange a window. Somebody needs to be there — curbside freight is not a doorstep drop.

  3. Inspect, then sign

Walk the pallet before you sign. Note any damage on the delivery receipt — that receipt is what a freight claim rests on.

Not sure this is the right size?

Sizing equipment off square footage alone is how people end up with a unit that short-cycles. Tell us about the space and we will tell you honestly whether this is the one.

Questions

Frequently asked

Can I install this myself?

It depends on the line. Pre-charged DIY systems are designed so the refrigerant connections are made by hand, with no brazing or vacuum pump. The electrical side — a dedicated circuit and disconnect — is licensed work in most jurisdictions whoever hangs the units. Everything else needs a licensed installer throughout.

Why is shipping not free on some items?

Anything that ships on a pallet goes LTL freight, and that cost varies by destination far more than parcel does. Where we hold a carrier quote we show you the real number for your state rather than burying an average in the price.

Does installing it myself void the warranty?

On the DIY lines, no — that is what they are built for. Registration inside the manufacturer's window is what matters. The warranty document for this model is in the Documents tab.

What if it turns up damaged?

Note it on the delivery receipt before you sign and photograph it at the curb, then call us. A signed-clean receipt makes a freight claim very difficult to win, so those two minutes matter.

Can you help me work out what I need?

Yes. Call or email before you order and we will go through capacity, line set run and what your inspector will want to see.

Before You Order

Make sure it is the right size, and that you have the rest of it

Most outdoor units ship alone. If you are not certain of the capacity, or of what has to go with this unit, these two will work it out with you.
