The 5th Generation MRCOOL® DIY® 36k BTU Ductless Mini-Split Heat Pump is a powerful and efficient option for heating and cooling spaces up to 1,550 sq. ft. Perfect for large rooms or open areas, this system is designed for true DIY installation—no special tools or professional assistance required. It’s a fast, affordable way to upgrade your home’s comfort.
The included DIYPRO® cable makes installation even easier by eliminating the need for electrical conduit, while offering added protection against outdoor elements and wildlife damage.
Controlling your comfort is simple and flexible. Use the included wireless remote, connect through the SmartHVAC app on iOS or Android, or manage the system hands-free with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. With the Follow Me® feature, the system senses the temperature around the remote and adjusts accordingly, providing more precise and even comfort. Dry Mode also helps by reducing humidity and improving indoor air quality.
The outdoor unit includes a corrosion-resistant Gold Fin® condenser coating, ideal for homes in coastal or humid environments.
For further peace of mind, you’ll receive a 7-year compressor warranty and 5-year parts warranty. This system is also eligible for the MRCOOL® Care Program. Enjoy smart control, dependable performance, and easy installation with MRCOOL® DIY®.
