Installing your own HVAC system doesn’t have to be difficult. The 5th Generation MRCOOL® DIY® 24k BTU 22.7 SEER Ductless Heat Pump Single Zone Mini Split Condenser is made with homeowners in mind, offering a simple and efficient way to heat or cool areas between 750 and 1,000 sq. ft.—without the need for professional tools or technical experience.
This system includes a 25-foot pre-charged Quick Connect® line set filled with eco-friendly R-454B refrigerant, removing the need for vacuuming during installation. It’s a safe, time-saving solution that helps reduce labor costs and installation complexity.
Controlling your comfort is easy with multiple options: the included remote, the SmartHVAC app on Apple or Android devices, or voice control via Alexa and Google Assistant. The Follow Me® feature adds personalized comfort by sensing the temperature around the remote and adjusting accordingly. For coastal areas, the Gold Fin® condenser coating offers added protection from corrosion, ensuring lasting performance in harsh environments.
Additional features include energy-saving modes like Auto and Sleep, a built-in timer function, and automatic restart after power loss—all designed to maximize comfort and efficiency with minimal effort.
